Elodie Jeannest de Gyvès

Elodie Jeannest de Gyves
Trained at the Sorbonne and the Ecole du Louvre, Elodie Jeannest de Gyvès is a specialist of medieval and Renaissance sculpture. She started her career at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine in 2002 and then worked for the Agence France-Muséums on the Louvre museum in Abu Dhabi. Her responsibilities on this project included the programming, the research and the pre-selection of acquisitions for the medieval period as well as the physical management of the collection. She thus developed a fine understanding of the relationship between institutions and the art market, at an international level. Her personal preferences include French Romanesque Sculpture, the Souabe school of the 15th century and terracotta sculpture from the Maine region.

Alexandre Lacroix

Specialized in sculpture from the 17th and 18th centuries, Alexandre Lacroix comes from a family of known experts. With twenty-five years of experience in the art market, he is a member of the French Union of Professional Experts/Appraisers for Works of Art. The greatest French auction houses (Artcurial, Tajan, Binoche & Giquello) trust his eye. His particular areas of interest are 17th century bronzes (Anguier, Van Clève, Giambologna, Susini) and French terracotta works of the 18th century (Clodion, Pajou and Houdon).
