The Team

Trained at the Sorbonne and the Ecole du Louvre, Elodie Jeannest de Gyvès is a specialist of medieval and Renaissance sculpture. She started her career at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine in 2002 and then worked for the Agence France-Muséums on the Louvre museum in Abu Dhabi. Her responsibilities on this project included the programming, the research and the pre-selection of acquisitions for the medieval period as well as the physical management of the collection. She thus developed a fine understanding of the relationship between institutions and the art market, at an international level. Her personal preferences include French Romanesque Sculpture, the Souabe school of the 15^th century and terracotta sculpture from the Maine region. e.jeannest@sculptureetcollection.com

Alexandre Lacroix

Specialized in sculpture from the 17th and 18th centuries, Alexandre Lacroix comes from a family of known experts. With twenty-five years of experience in the art market, he is a member of the French Union of Professional Experts/Appraisers for Works of Art. The greatest French auction houses (Artcurial, Tajan, Binoche & Giquello) trust his eye. His particular areas of interest are 17^th century bronzes (Anguier, Van Clève, Giambologna, Susini) and French terracotta works of the 18^th century (Clodion, Pajou and Houdon).
